The Beginnings of AI
A1 exploded in 2024 with huge numbers of business owners, staff and consumers using ChatGPT on a weekly, if not daily, basis.
Many businesses are now using AI to help create and schedule their social media, write reports and analyse data.
While not strictly for business use, here at DIY Digital we thought we’d have a play with AI and see if it can bring us some Christmas joy.
Vibe Coding
Vibe Coding is the name given to those who are using AI’s ability to code to create widgets, tools and apps. Replit is one of that helps both coders, and non-coders, code. It uses prompts, similar to the prompts used in ChatGPT – although it requires a little more practice and trial and error. And although people without coding skills can use Replit and similar software, those with coding knowledge can use it more effectively.
Christmas Scenes
In Replit we created a Christmas landing page. There was a fair bit of trial, error and experimentation especially with the music and music player. The final result was 3 Christmas scenes each with
- snow animation which can be adjusted from light, medium and heavy snowfall
- unique Christmas song for each scene
Give it a go yourself
- click on the left and right arrow to switch between scenes
- use the snow slider to adjust the amount of snow
- click on the button to play and pause the Christmas Carol
The 3 scenes in our A1 Christmas each have their unique Christmas Carol.
- Christmas Penguin – Jingle Bells
- Christmas Tree – O Tannenbaum
- Aussie Cockatoos – We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Christmas Memory Game
Staying with the Christmas theme and still using Replit, we created a Christmas themed memory game. Feel free to have a play and test your memory skills.
